Reclaim Your Joy

Do you remember your favourite part of the playground at recess? The anticipation of the bell ringing would bring pure joy, only topped by perhaps the joy of an ice cream cone on a sunny day.

We would rush to the playground, trying to be the first person to top of the structure.  The activities predetermined only by the hierarchy of each grade level.  It was hard to feel stressed or anxious while playing Capture the Flag or Tag.

Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.

When was the last time you relished in some ordinary experiences? Have you stopped to smell the roses lately? Can you recall the last time you hopped, skipped, or jumped your way through life? Can you close your eyes and picture what it’s like to go swinging through the air on a Biggo Swing? As adults, we don’t often get to play in our daily lives. It’s easy to lose the spontaneity of our childhood recesses.  Why did we stop going to playgrounds?  It’s the epicenter of creativity, excitement and adventure. A playground is a world of endless possibilities.
