In the electronic age, childhood obesity is a growing concern and motivating children to be active is harder than ever. This is even truer of older children in the playground target ages, between the ages of 9 to 12. Rising equipment, installation and maintenance costs, and lack of available space, make it more difficult to meet the needs of growing populations. The most challenging aspect of choosing new and attractive playgrounds is the lack of uniqueness and innovation found in the product choices available to designers. => Read More <=

The 2008 Canadian Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA) tradeshow in Quebec City attracted hundreds of spectators and exhibitors from all corners of Canada. Dynamo proudly introduced, for the first time, a life-like model of the DX-202 net climber, shown in a park setting. This was a fantastic opportunity for both Dynamo, and the customer as well. With the DX-202 net climber spanning 70'3" / 21.4m, a life-sized version of this net would never have access to a Parks & Recreation tradeshow. Ultimately, the customer would never have the benefit of conceptualizing this net's shape and presence in a park setting. For sales representatives, this model will be a remarkable resource that allows them the opportunity to display a DX-202 in their tradeshow booth in a highly cost effective way.

Rob Lockhart, Dynamo's Sales director for the USA has just returned from visiting another of Dynamo's highly successful projects installed this year, "Grasslawn Park" in Redmond, WA. Along with Sales Representative Bruce Halvorson, Rob was able to spend some time with Deputy Parks Director for Redmond, Greg Byszeski, who emphatically stated "These Dynamo pieces are by far the best play value I have ever seen, well worth the money!" This phase of "Grasslawn Park" opened June 2008 to a response from the community that astonished Greg even after 32 years in the Park & Recreation Industry.

Dynamo's President Richard Martin made a brief stop at home between business trips to Europe And Asia in support of our international representatives, where he was able to comment about the Bowen Park project in Waukeegan, Illinois that was recently opened to astounding success: "I think this was the most impressive project we had ever undertaken. The way the children flocked to it on opening day truly amazed even me, and seeing this unique net climber taken from concept all the way to reality was one of our proudest achievements. The city of Waukeegan were fantastic clients to work with. We appreciate their imagination and vision for interactive, energetic play, and can't wait to work with them again in the future."
