C ontinuing its worldwide growth, Dynamo is congratulating new representatives Fahneu of Chile for the installation and recent grand opening of their first Dynamo Net Climber. Cuidad Parque Becentario, in Chile's capital city of Santiago, is touted as the most important urban development project that Chile has undertaken, and Fahneu contributed greatly to Phase 1 of this prestigious playground project by providing one of Dynamo's impressive DX-402-C Net Climbers. Due to its unrivaled popularity, Fahneu is being asked to provide additional Dynamo pieces as the city continues to develop this park's future phases.
"The parks have more activity and use than before. People are enthusiastic about having more creativity in their public spaces," notes Magdalena Pinera, executive director of the Future Foundation.

Mr. Marquis, school principal, made the following remarks about his playground's new Astro, provided and installed by Dynamo distributor Jambette :
"Our school L'Envol of La Sarre in Abitibi, which has 400 elementary students, installed the Astro in October 2008. Despite initial fears that some had about the safety of this game because of its height and because it rotates, we can see now that it is designed with safety in mind; and, it is by far the children's favorite. A schedule has been established to limit the number of children that can play at one time since they all wanted to play. Each grade has been assigned specific days to use it. Now recesses are more fun and every child wants the days of bad weather to not fall on their 'Astro Day'. In conclusion, the Astro is well worth the investment."

In the electronic age, childhood obesity is a growing concern and motivating children to be active is harder than ever. This is even truer of older children in the playground target ages, between the ages of 9 to 12. Rising equipment, installation and maintenance costs, and lack of available space, make it more difficult to meet the needs of growing populations. The most challenging aspect of choosing new and attractive playgrounds is the lack of uniqueness and innovation found in the product choices available to designers. => Read More <=

The 2008 Canadian Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA) tradeshow in Quebec City attracted hundreds of spectators and exhibitors from all corners of Canada. Dynamo proudly introduced, for the first time, a life-like model of the DX-202 net climber, shown in a park setting. This was a fantastic opportunity for both Dynamo, and the customer as well. With the DX-202 net climber spanning 70'3" / 21.4m, a life-sized version of this net would never have access to a Parks & Recreation tradeshow. Ultimately, the customer would never have the benefit of conceptualizing this net's shape and presence in a park setting. For sales representatives, this model will be a remarkable resource that allows them the opportunity to display a DX-202 in their tradeshow booth in a highly cost effective way.
