Responsibilities:

  • Reception duties; greeting guests, receiving and directing phone calls.
  • Provide HR support, including but not limited to; job postings, screening potential candidates, on-boarding of new employees, Health & Safety training, compensation, benefits and organizing employee training.
  • Maintain and distribute the internal communications bulletin.
  • Support in capturing minutes for special meetings and follow-up on determined action items.
  • Managing the company time-off calendar.
  • Assisting Senior Management with scheduling and administrative tasks as required.
  • Supporting other departments when needed and other administrative duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong administrative, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word & Excel).
  • Previous experience in the human resources field preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify sales prospects including doing research, cold calls to warm leads, develop leads, build relationships, close orders and develop accounts in a consultative sales process.
  • Improve sales revenue from product development.
  • Use of social media and email marketing to promote company and generate on-line leads.
  • Send quotations and follow-up with interested customers.
  • Plan, budget and organize sales trips to liaise with existing and potential clients.
  • Ability to work on long sales cycles for larger pieces of equipment.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales forecasts/reports to management.

Requirements:

  • Previous direct selling experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent organizational skills; schedule and keep appointments, track sales cycle, produce sales reports and manage customer follow-ups.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills (French is an asset).
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Be self-directed with the ability to learn new products and work as a team member.
  • Willingness to explore innovative sales approaches and methodologies. Knowledge of digital sales practices, including social media.

CNC Programmer/Operator

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Advanced CNC programming of Hass CNC controllers.
  • Create programs using a CAM system (Fusion 360, Inventor, Bodcad).
  • Produce quality parts on CNC machines for daily production.
  • Manual CNC programming of custom applications.
  • Performs the initial tooling set up and programming. Installs fixtures on CNC machines.
  • Advise on the design of fixtures, cutting tools and gauge design at the project concept state.
  • Perform capability studies after initial project set up to prove out machining process, tooling and fixturing method.
  • Set up tool life management and schedule machine maintenance.
  • Study existing processes and recommend possible modifications.
  • Identify and implement CNC machine process improvements and efficiency, tooling or fixtures.
  • Communicate and work effectively with Production scheduling to achieve daily targets, minimize scrap and maximize material usage.
  • Create complex programs using advance variables.
  • Create programs for 2-5 axis machines.
  • Create subprograms and macro calls.
  • Create CNC programs with IF statements, loops, conditional operations requirements, variable input and output.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of set up and machining experience, Mill & Lathe.
  • Good understanding of tooling and material properties.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Post-secondary diploma or certification in a related field preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Windows operating systems.
  • Strong command of English language, both written and verbal mandatory.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work unsupervised alone or in a team.
  • Machine maintenance and repair skills would be a definite asset.

Playground Planner

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design creative custom playground equipment through concept sketches and 3D software, transforming customers visions into reality.
  • Digitally modify existing 3D playground equipment for the purpose of extending existing product lines.
  • Liaise with Sales to discuss project scope and budget. Review client and or Landscape Architect requests (sketches, photos, etc.) to determine end-user expectations.
  • Create 3D renderings and presentation layouts, along with Use Zones, 2D/3D files and specification sheets.
  • Collaborate with Production Designers, Production personnel and Management to establish best design/production practices.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a post-secondary education from an accredited University or College in Digital Illustration, Industrial Design, Architecture, 3D Animation and Modeling, or other related field of study.
  • Demonstrated experience with 3D CAD and presentation software such as; Adobe Creative Suite, Solidworks, 3D Studio Max or AutoCAD.
  • Rhinocerous 3D, 3D animation and Lumion experience is an asset.
  • An existing design portfolio demonstrating the applicant’s ability to create complex, high quality, 3D models and renderings is considered an asset.

Powder Coat Painter/Sandblaster

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare surface for painting, using air-powered sandblasting equipment. Operate equipment to clean, strip, sand, remove corrosion, fill dents or otherwise prepare fabricated steel items for application of paint and or other protective coatings.
  • Sandblast playground equipment in a blast booth using sandblasting and spray gun equipment.
  • Application of paper and masking tape to protect unpainted surfaces.
  • Operate spray or flow coating equipment or other painting /product coating equipment.
  • Operate convection oven for baking of painted products.
  • Clean and maintain painting/sandblasting areas, ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipment.
  • Disassemble paint and sandblasting equipment and clean equipment, using solvent, wire brushes and dry cloth.
  • Document date of completion and paint specifics used in application.
  • Substitute in either Sandblasting or Painting positions as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and corporate policies and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience sandblasting/painting.
  • Be physically fit and be able to lift and move up to 50 – 70 pounds.
  • Must be reliable and detail oriented.
  • Excellent English communication skills. French is an asset.
  • Industrial painting certificate is an asset.
  • Must be able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Must be willing to work 8 or 10 hour shifts. Potential for evening shifts, 4:00 pm – 2:30 am.

Welder Fabricator

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Reading blueprints and drawings, taking measurements to plan layout.
  • Setting up components for welding according to specifications. Align components using calipers, rulers, clamps, etc.
  • Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
  • Cutting and joining metals and other materials to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision. Using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).
  • Assemble completed structures for test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a welder (1 to 2 years) – MIG welding experience mandatory. Must pass an internal welding test.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Completion of a Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent accreditation.
  • Completion of a related technical diploma and/or CWB certification or equivalent would be considered a strong asset.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage your time to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be willing to work 8 or 10 hour shifts. Potential for evening shifts, 4:00 pm – 2:30 am.
